About Jael’s Destiny
Reasons why I founded Jael’s Destiny…
When my daughter Jael was diagnosed with Autism, I became determined to be a resilient advocate for her. Throughout my search for Autism resources and support, persistence and dedication remained a constant challenge. Now I consult and support families like mine to overcome these challenges so they can become healthy caregivers of individuals with Autism. I am dedicated to caring for the families I serve with love and compassion as I work from a sincere place of understanding.
My career path started towards service for others as a volunteer at a non-profit youth shelter in high school that led me to do a practicum in college at a similar youth shelter. I completed my undergraduate degree in Justice Administration, and obtained my graduate degree in Public Administration. While in graduate school I worked with children with developmental disabilities in the public school system. Unknowingly, my experiences were laying the foundation for my future endeavors with Jael's Destiny. Over the past 20 years, I have worked in non-profits, children's group homes, foster care, and in customer service for the federal government.
I love spending time with my family and enjoying activities such as dancing, singing, and watching movies. I love traveling and discovering local restaurants, especially with friends over brunch or dinner. During my rare moments of solitude, I enjoy shopping, reading, and writing.
More about Jael’s Destiny and how we help families…
I established Jael's Destiny Consulting Firm in 2022 as a result of my frustration and desperation when trying to find feasible help and solutions for my Autistic child, Jael. The lack of readily available Autism help that actually provides resourceful and useful services, especially in the first few months after diagnosis, motivated me to provide these useful services for families facing similar challenges.
I now strive to provide caregiver families with self-care solutions and guidance on how to best care for their child(ren) with the resources available to them. I offer support along a family’s journey as a compassionate, dedicated, and empathetic partner. I am a compass guide through navigating Autism. Helping families to be exposed to services needed and the providers. Creating bridges that connect families seeking connections. Assisting with time-saving strategies already active in the Autism community.
My expertise lies in guiding caregivers through Autism, especially in the early stages.
